Police cracking down on DWI for holiday weekend

This July Fourth, police throughout Nassau County, including the Lynbrook Police Department, will be enforcing the driving while intoxicated laws, taking drunk and drugged drivers off the road. This weekend enforcement will be enhanced by funds provided by the Nassau County Traffic Safety STOP DWI Program with a grant from the New York State STOP DWI Coordinators Association and the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee. This enforcement will be throughout Nassau County.
