Fourth Battalion hosts firefigher cruise

The Fourth Battalion Fire District of Nassau County has hosted an evening boat cruise each summer since 2006. The cruise, which departs from Freeport on board the Starstream VIII of the Captain Lou Fleet, allows volunteer firefighters from the Malverne, Lakeview, East Rockaway, Lynbrook and Rockville Centre fire departments to gather and connect with their fellow firefighters. The event provides an opportunity for firefighters to unwind and enjoy each other's company outside of their regular duties.
