Police: Car hits cyclist in Rockville Centre

According to police, a teenager was struck by a car while riding their bike in Rockville Centre on Wednesday. 

It happened at 5:20 p.m. yesterday at the intersection of Sunrise Highway and Oceanside Road. 

The 14-year-old cyclist was transferred to Cohens Children's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
