A children's theatrical production of the play, "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" will be performed in Westwood Park. Bring a chair or blanket. The event is co-sponsored by the Malverne Merchants and Professional Association, and will be performed by Plaza Theatrical Productions.

Clambake at American Legion Post #44
Saturday, August 13, 4:00 - 7:30 pm, 230 Franklin Avenue in Malverne. All you can eat hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, clams on the 1/2 shell, chicken tenders, corn on the cob, baked beans with polish kielbasa, as well as soda, beer, coffee, tea, cake and watermelon. Paint Nite at Creative Corner
Thursday, Aug. 18, 7:00 p.m., 482 Hempstead Avenue, West Hempstead. An expert artist will guide you step-by-step in completing this painting, Color-Wheel Daisy, at the Creative Corner. Organizers guarantee all materials provided for you to leave with a masterpiece! The event is BYOB and water, coffee & tea will be available for a donation. Cost: $30 per person, but if you reserve & pay by August 15th - it’s $25.
