Established in 2000, Churchill’s Pub & Grill has long been a popular icon in Rockville Centre. It changed hands during the summer of 2020. Chef/Owner Maurizio Vendittelli set out to restore Churchill’s to its finest version, while retaining its staff members and warm, friendly atmosphere. That fall, Vendittelli also acquired Winston’s (next door), renaming it Mangia Bene, turning it into an Italian restaurant serving robust pizzas and fresh pastas, to more upscale entrees. more

While I truly appreciated every moment of my 28 years in Congress, I’ve found that a real benefit of being retired is that I have more time to think about where I’ve been and how I got there.
