Young hoopsters from throughout the area gathered at Curé of Ars Roman Catholic Church on Jan. 24 for the 2010 Knights of Columbus International Free Throw Contest, sponsored locally by the Father Jeremiah J. Reilly Council. The children battled it out to represent the council and community in district and county shootouts, with Jennifer Imhoff, Nicole Imhoff, Kim Pike, Jaclyn Zanella, John Timothy and Patrick Horn being named this year's champs. The next stop for the victorious bunch will be the district shootout on Jan. 31.
