Merrick PAL, Force to hold clothing drives for Haiti

The Merrick Force U11 travel soccer team and the Merrick Police Activity League are holding clothing drives to help Haitians devastated by a major earthquake this week. The Force and PAL are partnering with Harold Valestin, who is working directly with Yele.org and the Hatian consulate.
The following are the dates and times for collection:
• Tuesday, Jan. 19, from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Long Island Sports Complex parking lot in Freeport.
• Wednesday, Jan 20, from 7:30-8:30 in the Camp Avenue Elementary School gymnasium and also from 7-8 at Merrick Avenue Middle School.
• Fridays, Jan 22 and Jan 29, from 7-8 in the Brookside School gym.
