At least three streets in Oceanside were targeted by thieves Monday night, with Nassau County Police confirming one car was stolen and that five had cash taken from inside the vehicle.

Police say the most important thing to keep your valuables safe is for people to lock their cars and take their keys or fobs inside the house.
