A Brooklyn woman was arrested on Dec. 2 in Oceanside after police said she was driving drunk with a child unrestrained in the back seat.

Officers stopped a 2015 Nissan on Long Beach Road near Tilrose Avenue at 10:32 p.m. after observing the vehicle failing to stay in its lane. When officers approached, they found a 7-year-old boy sitting unrestrained in the backseat, police said.

The driver — Paula Gregg-Stanton, 34 — appeared intoxicated, according to police, and was taken into custody. The child was reportedly released to a family member.

Gregg-Stanton was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, as well as driving while intoxicated, endangering the welfare of a child and multiple vehicle and traffic violations, according to police.

She was scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 3 in First District Court in Hempstead.
