A section of Oceanside Road in Oceanside is closed in both directions between Windsor Parkway and Davison Avenue due to an active water main break, the Oceanside Fire Department said.
Crews are on the scene working to repair the damaged water line and motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes for the time being. The Stretch between Windsor Pkwy. and Davison Ave. is a local neighborhood segment of roughly 0.2 to 0.3 miles in the heart of the hamlet, so the closure affects several blocks of traffic and could delay commutes on nearby streets.
