Oceanside residents gathered once again under the bright skies to honor the memory of those who sacrificed their lives in wartime. The annual Memorial Day parade, led by the Chwatsky Jewish War Veterans Post 717, filled the streets with American flags, organization banners, and poppies, creating a vibrant and patriotic atmosphere.
The community assembled at the Oceanside High School war veterans’ memorial for a poignant Memorial Day service. The event provided an opportunity for gratitude, ensuring that the names of the brave men and women who perished are remembered.
