Seth Matthew Tucker will wed Melanie Dana Wilichinsky.
Joan and Alan Tucker of Oceanside announce the engagement of their son, Seth Matthew Tucker, to Melanie Dana Wilichinsky, daughter of Bonnie and Alvin Wilichinsky of Fresh Meadows, Queens.
Seth is a 2003 graduate of Oceanside High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Binghamton University in 2007. He is currently employed at New York Life Insurance Company in the Variable Annuity Department.
Melanie graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in English from Binghamton University in 2007. She is an editor at Springer Science and Business Media.
The couple met Labor Day weekend 2002 at Surprise Lake Camp. A 2011 wedding is planned.
