The city’s Island Vibes summer series returned to Pryibil Beach Aug. 12, bringing live music, food trucks and family activities to the Glen Cove waterfront.
The event, which runs from 6 to 9 p.m., will feature the Roadkill Country Outlaws performing country hits and honky-tonk favorites. Guests can also enjoy dinner, desserts and refreshments from a rotating selection of food trucks and vendors.
Island Vibes launched last Wednesday, Aug. 5, with the Bobby Bahama Band, marking the first of a five-week series at Pryibil Beach. The series was expanded this year after a strong turnout for last summer’s inaugural Island Vibes event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring beach chairs and blankets and enjoy the music, food and sunset views overlooking the Long Island Sound. The event is free and open to everyone, according to the event listing.
Island Vibes will continue Aug. 19 with That Diva Band, Aug. 26 with a freestyle night featuring DJ Master Jay, and Sept. 2 with entertainment to be announced. All events are scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. at Pryibil Beach.
