Despite the cloudy skies, Oyster Bay turned out to honor the men and women of the armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.
While other communities across Long Island rescheduled their parades or moved inside, Oyster Bay first responders, veterans, elected officials and residents braved the foul weather to pay their respects to those who died to keep the United States a free country.
