Despite windy weather, Town of Oyster Bay residents gathered at Theodore Roosevelet Memorial Park and Beach for the town’s annual Art in the Park event. This year’s event was held on May 30 and featured more than 90 local artists and artisans.
All items being displayed or sold were required to be original and handcrafted, including paintings, jewelry, ceramics, photography, woodworking, and art made with sea glass. Food trucks like Crepes and Bakes and Cousins Maine Lobster offered food as attendees explored and shopped. Child-friendly activities, like inflatables, were also included.
The event, first launched in 2022, is run by the town’s Department of Community and Youth Services, Cultural and Performing Arts Division.
