owling Green Elementary School’s Bee Green Environmental Student Club collected dozens of cell phones and delivered them to Senator Kemp Hannon’s office in Garden City, which is registered as an official drop-off site for Cell Phones for Soldiers, which is a nonprofit organization that collects unwanted cell phones and sells them to ReCellular. The revenue is then used to buy millions of prepaid calling cards for U.S. troops overseas. more
