Steven McDonald at the Charles Reese Memorial Park in the village on Jan. 9. Malverne resident and New York Police Detective Steven McDonald suffered a heart attack on Jan. 6 and was said to be unconscious, said Perry Cuocci, a Malverne village trustee. He was rushed to a hospital in Nassau County late this afternoon, Cuocci reported. more
