East Meadow native Rich Ohrnberger, an offensive lineman for the San Diego Chargers, was in the spotlight last Monday night after entering the season opener against the Arizona Cardinals in the first half when starting center Nick Hartwick went down with an ankle injury. Though the Chargers lost, 18-17, Ohrnberger played a role in two touchdown drives in the second half. The former East Meadow High School and Penn State University standout began his sixth NFL season.
