The North Merrick Library recently welcomed Russian-born virtuoso instrumentalist Sergei Gurbelo for a special performance. Gurbelo, an international performer and recording artist, entertained Merokeans with the saxophone, flute, clarinet, harmonica, pan flute, penny whistle and the ocarina. Concert attendees sat back and were captivated by Gurbelo’s musical diversity. more

Frank Baum's world of Oz comes alive this weekend when Los Angeles-based Louise Reichlin & Dancers brings its acclaimed multi-media dance production to the East Coast for the first time, with a performance at Long Island Children's Museum.
