For the 8th consecutive year, Sen. Dean Skelos hosted a Golden Gathering Senior Health Fair at the Rockville Centre Recreation Center. The Oct. 22nd event generated a large turnout, with an estimated 1,200 - 1,400 flu shots distributed to those who stopped by.

The Rockville Centre Lions Club hosted its 12th annual Duck Race and fall fair at Centennial Park at Mill River on a beautiful recent October Saturday. In total, 4,000 rubber ducks set sail on Mill River in a competition for who would finish first during the afternoon event.
