North Bellmore American Legion Post 1749, American Legion Post 948 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2770 invite the community to the Bellmores’ Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27. The parade will start at Newbridge Road Elementary School, at 1601 Newbridge Road, continue south on Bellmore Avenue, west on Oak Street and south on Bedford Avenue before ending at the veterans’ memorial. The program will begin at 9 a.m. at the school. Wreaths will be presented at the veterans’ and firefighters’ monuments. Raffles and prizes will be offered. more
