On Sunday, Jan.12th, Rev. Bob Walderman of the Lynbrook Baptist Church presented a $1,000 check to Layra Ryder , Chairperson of the Lynbrook Community Chest. As part of the church's effort to minister to both the spiritual and physical needs of its neighbors in the name of Jesus Christ, the church continues to be involved with the community. Since the Community Chest organization is in place and effectively meets the need of our Lynbrook neighbors, the church see no reason to "reinvent the mousetrap,' but comes alongside of and supports their good work.
