Amy Schumer up for Golden Globe

Rockville Centre’s own Amy Schumer has been nominated for a Golden Globe.

The actress/comedian is up for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy” for her role in her own film, “Trainwreck,” which came out earlier this year.

She’s up against Jennifer Lawrence, Melissa McCarthy, Maggie Smith and Lily Tomlin for the award.

“Thank you Hollywood foreign press!!” she wrote on Twitter. “This is a dream.”
