The Elmont Farms Supermarket closed its doors nearly two weeks ago. Today, the building's doors are locked and a sign on the front window — from the store's last days — reads, "Everything must go."

The Elmont Farms Supermarket, which has been located at 780 Meacham Ave. in Elmont for decades, closed its doors nearly two weeks ago. The store was sold to local owner Gurdip Singh three years ago by the original owner. Singh was not available for comment before the Herald went to print. Last week, the store’s doors were locked and a sign on the front window — from the store’s last days — read, “Everything must go.”
