EMHS hosts walk-a-thon

The members of the East Meadow HS National Honor Society held a walk-a-thon at the high school last Friday for Matthew Rosiello, a 21-year-old who desperately needs a liver transplant. His health care costs are overwhelming. The students are doing this to honor and help a previous EMHS graduate and past EM Herald Person of the Year, Mookie Alderman, who is Matthew’s cousin. Many area businesses donated food or raffle prizes for the walkers.
