Alisha and Craig Spatz were recognized as People of the Year and Batsheva From-Altman and Bruce Wernick were presented with the Harrison-Kerr Community Achievement Award at the 17th annual Marion & Aaron Gural JCC fundraising gala at The Mansion at Lawrence on June 13.
The Gural JCC runs an array of program and services for children, adults and seniors at both the Cedarhurst house on Grove Avenue and the Harrison-Kerr Family Campus in Lawrence. The JCC also operates the Sustenance Hope Opportunities Place, also in Cedarhurst, a one-stop venue for kosher food, clothes, career and social services assistance for those in need.
