Heart help marathon

Nursing students from Molloy College participated in the first-of-its kind CPR Marathon held at St. Francis Hospital on Feb. 12 to mark American Heart Month. They were joined by doctors, nurses, CPR instructors, volunteer firefighters, Girl Scouts and others to perform continuous hands-only CPR, surpassing their goal of 48,000 compressions for a grand total of 60,000 by day’s end.
