Jeff Rueb, 39, of Brentwood and a general manager of Dunkin Donuts in Long Beach, was arrested and charged with grand larceny on Jan. 19. According to Nassau County detectives, Rueb, while employed as the general manager of three Dunkin Donuts in Long Beach, Lynbrook and Baldwin, altered daily cash reports enabling him to steal about $40,000. The loss was discovered during an internal audit. After an investigation, Rueb voluntarily surrendered to the Crimes Against Property Squad at their headquarters in Westbury and was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Jan. 19.
