Man arrested in Uniondale for forcible touching, stolen property

A man was arrested in Uniondale after he forcibly touched a woman at a Merrick grocery store back in July.

Delano Brathwaite, 27, was at the Stop and Shop in Merrick on July 28, police said. While at the store, police reported that he allegedly touched a 36-year-old woman before fleeing.

Brathwaite was identified and arrested on Oct. 14 for the incident, and according to police, he was found with several credit cards that did not belong to him.

Brathewaite was charged with forcible touching and criminal possession of stolen property. He was arraigned on Oct. 15 at First District Court in Hempstead.
