Other changes may be happening just down the street from AVF, on Woodfield Road. The Western Beef supermarket currently located there is reportedly relocating further down on Woodfield Road to where the former Stop & Shop was located. Although not yet verified, it is possible that another supermarket will replace the Western Beef. Calls to the supermarket’s property managers were not returned as of press time.
“Knowing that a whole area is going to change, I think it’s going to open up a lot of avenues to people looking at the location differently,” Norton said, adding that the area holds a “tremendous amount of potential.”
