Flower and Garden Show

Dees’ Nursery, 69 Atlantic Ave., Oceanside, will host its First Annual Flower and Garden Show on March 6 and 7. There will be special discounts, free gardening classes and activities for children. Visit www.deesnursery.com for more information.

Interfaith forum

Reserve March 4 at 7.30 p.m. for an evening with local clergy, rabbis, ministers and priests from Rockville Centre, who will conduct an Interfaith Forum to address questions about religion, theology, various Holy Days and current events. The forum will be held at Temple B'nai Sholom, 100 Hempstead Ave. After the program refreshments will be served. All are invited.

Homemakers Club

The Rockville Centre chapter of Homemakers meets every Tuesday at the John A. Anderson Recreation Center on Oceanside Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Winter Exhibit at Phillips House

The Museum of Rockville Centre's winter exhibit at the Phillips House, 28 Hempstead Ave., is American cut glass (from the Brilliant Period of the mid-to-late 1800s), pressed and cranberry glass from the mid-19th and early 20th centuries. Examples of cranberry glass include a rare whale oil lamp cut to clear and an eight-sided French perfume bottle   There are several variety of vases, candy dishes and baskets and a unique paneled sugar shaker. These pieces are uniquely displayed with cut crystal bowls, vases and Victorian napkin rings. The museum is open from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment.  Call (516) 764 -7459 for further information. The museum has no entry fee.
