Antiques Appraisal Day The Museum of Rockville Centre, located at the Phillips House, 28 Hempstead Ave. is hosting an Antiques Appraisal Day this Sunday, May 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. Appraisers Phillip Weiss (who appears on “The Antiques Road Show,”) and Rosario DiBenedetto, a local liquidator, will appraise all items with the exception of furniture. A donation of $10 for one item or $25 for three items also includes a one-year membership to the museum. All donations are tax deductible. Because the appraisers are donating their time, all proceeds will go directly to the museum. For more information, call Frank Seipp at (516) 764-7459.

Anthony Brunetta to be honored Saturday at Friends of Senior Services Monte Carlo Night Anthony Brunetta, Rockville Centre’s Parks and Recreation superintendent will be honored this Saturday, May 1 by the Friends of Senior Services during the Monte Carlo night, FOSSI’s annual community fundraiser at the Sandel Senior Center, 50 S. Park Ave. Members of the community are invited to participate in the elegant, glittering and fun filled event as the Sandel Center is transformed into a casino for the evening. The event includes catered food, an open bar and fun gambling for prizes. Tickets, $50, are available by calling (516) 678-9350.

Limoge box exhibit

Small boxes have been used for centuries to contain cosmetics, beauty patches, hair, powder, salves, jewelry and many other uses.These small treasures were made of all sorts of material.The Rockville Centre Museum has the Mr.& Mrs. Michael J. Gibbons collection of handpainted porcelain limoge boxes acquired in Paris on display at the Phillips House Museum, 28 Hempstead Ave. through May 2. Also included are contemporary Faberge Eggs produced at the Faberge Factory by selected artists and Russian Lacquered boxes.The museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. There is no charge for admission, but donations are always welcome.Call Frank Seipp at (516) 764-7459 for more information.

Seussical the Musical

Beauty and The Beast

Garage Sale
