Malverne Holiday Lighting Tickets
Tickets are still available for several Holiday Lighting events in the village. Contact Village Hall for further information: 599-1200. Cookie Workshop on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. at the Malverne Library. The event is $10 per child and includes 2 cookies. Historical Society's Holiday Gala on Friday, Dec. 2 from 7 - 10 p.m. Cost is $35 and includes food, drink and entertainment. Breakfast with Santa on Saturday Dec. 3, 9 a.m. and 11 a.m $16 per person. The event will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Malverne. Bowling with Santa on Saturday Dec. 3 at noon at San Dee Lanes in Malverne. There is an $11 fee per bowler. For ages 5 and up.

Compete in a Mario Kart 8 tournament to win a $25 GameStop gift card, and bring your 3DS to get Street Passes. Don’t forget the library is a Poké Stop so bring your device to catch Pokémon too! For children 10 & up.

Tai Chi, an ancient Chinese tradition that is practiced as a graceful form of exercise and helps relieve stress and anxiety, will be offered free to library members. Shifu (master teacher) Pam Dye will lead this practice.
