A fire broke out in the basement of a two-story house on Cedarhurst Avenue by Lincoln Street in Cedarhurst near 2:40 p,m. on July 6.
Though all the people in the home got out before the firefighters arrived, three people were taken to the hospital, oficials said.
The Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department and six other fire departments responded, along with the Nassau police.
Officials said the cause of the fire was not known at this time.
