Students and teachers in Valley Stream celebrated the 100th day of the school year on Feb. 26. In the elementary schools, students sang, marched in parades, wore hats and glasses, and counted 100 of various objects.
While the 100th day was originally scheduled for the Friday before February break, it was bumped back because of three snow days. Despite the delay, students and teachers were still excited to celebrate the milestone.
