East Rockaway and Lynbrook will both honor veterans with special events this week. East Rockaway will hold a Veterans Day ceremony at 11:11 a.m. on Nov. 11 at the East Rockaway American Legion. In Lybrook, coffee and cake will be served at 9 a.m. by the Lynbrook PBA and volunteers, 10:30 post Veterans Day services, and 11 a.m. Village services at the Doughboy Monument behind the LIRR train station.
