West Point visits Rockville Centre

Posted

In one of a planned series of programs to celebrate its 75th anniversary year, Central Synagogue of Nassau County welcomed the West Point Jewish Chapel Choir on Feb. 12. At 7:30 that evening, the 26 cadets performed a free concert, open to the public, in the temple’s Sanctuary. Members of the choir, who stayed with congregants on Friday and Saturday nights, also gave a special performance the next morning for students in Central’s religious school. Founded in 1947, the choir performs at West Point community services and by invitation, at congregations throughout the United States.
