W.H. merchant donates to Eagle Scout

Chris Farrell, an Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 201, thanked a number of people and businesses, including those in West Hempstead, for their generous donations, which made it possible for him to complete his service project. With the help of his fellow Scouts, Farrell built a concession stand for use at the Herricks Community Center. The stand will benefit Herricks High School sports teams and help raise funds for other community organizations.
Farrell’s thanks go to Artisan Custom Interiors (of West Hempstead), Albertson Hardware, Chesler Plywood, Home Depot, Munders, NYI Building Products and the Maguire Family.
