Another threat clears Wantagh schools

Wantagh High School and Wantagh Middle School have been evacuated for the second time in three weeks after a threat was found written on a boy’s bathroom wall in the high school.
According to the message sent to parents from Superintendent Maureen Goldberg, police were contacted Wednesday morning and are currently on site conducting an investigation. As a precaution, kids from both kids have been moved to the high school football field.
“We will not be releasing students as we expect them to return to the building soon,” Goldberg said. “We asked for your continued cooperation.”
