Kindness fills the halls at Lee Road Elementary

Students at Lee Road Elementary School in the Levittown School District prepared for World Kindness Day on Nov. 13 with a variety of positivity-themed projects.

Third graders in Jennifer Martinez’s class each named ways they show kindness every day, such as helping friends and family and being respectful in class. The acts of kindness will be displayed as a string of lights outside Martinez’s classroom door. Meanwhile, in Stephanie Ottomano’s fourth grade class, students drew and described their own acts of kindness on individual sections of a quilt. Each student’s square will be assembled to create a large quilt displayed outside their classroom.
