King Kullen’s Levittown store, located at 3284 Hempstead Turnpike, is set to close this Thursday after more than 30 years in the community.
According to a report from Newsday, Lloyd Singer, a spokesperson for King Kullen, confirmed that the store will not renew its lease at the location. King Kullen, a well-known Long Island-based supermarket chain, has been a staple for local shoppers, and the closure marks the end of an era for the neighborhood.
