In the wake of Roe v. Wade’s overturning, religious leaders from all over are tackling the issue of abortion. On August 5, Rabbi Moshe Weisblum of Congregation Beth Tikvah in Wantagh hosted a “Lunch and Learn” lecture at the congregation.

Weisblum, who holds a doctorate degree in philosophy from Baltimore Hebrew University, discussed the Jewish perspective on abortion with congregation members.

“Lunch and Learn” is a monthly program open to the public, which includes interactive discussions. More information can be found on Congregation Beth Tikvah’s website.
