Greco re-elected to Wantagh school board; Adrian, Moran elected to Levittown

Wantagh School District budget

Residents did not approve the proposed Wantagh School District budget, which would have pierced the district’s tax-levy cap with a 3.82 percent increase. It needed a supermajority of at least 60 percent of the vote to pass, but received only about 50 percent, with 1,202 votes in favor and 1,165 against. Wantagh School District Board of Education

Anthony Greco ran unopposed and was re-elected to a 10th term with 1,727 votes.

Levittown School District budget

Residents passed the Levittown School District budget with a final tally of 1,441 votes in favor and 829 against.

Incumbents Marianne Adrian and James Moran were re-elected with 1,349 and 1,322 votes, respectively. Challenger Linda Testamark lost with 928 votes.
