Nassau County police arrested two women following an undercover investigation into alleged illegal massages and prostitution at a local spa on Sept. 5.
Detectives from the Narcotics and Vice Squads conducted the investigation at Thai Spa on Wantagh Avenue, determining that alleged illegal activities were taking place at the location. Ling Li, 32, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with unauthorized practice of a profession and prostitution. Lifen Luo, 45, of Woodbury, was charged with promoting prostitution in the fourth degree.
Both women were released with appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in First District Court in Hempstead on Sept. 30.
