Dozens of Malverne High School graduates, dressed in blue caps and gowns, celebrated the culmination of their high school careers during the Malverne Union Free School District’s commencement ceremony on June 26.
Family members, friends, faculty and district administrators gathered to honor the Class of 2026 as graduates received their diplomas and prepared to begin the next chapter of their lives.
The ceremony featured remarks from valedictorian Dayami Guaman, salutatorian Lorraine Akou and senior class president Makayla Boubert, who reflected on the class’s accomplishments, resilience and shared experiences while encouraging their classmates to embrace the future with confidence.
The ceremony concluded with the traditional turning of the tassels and cap toss, marking the official graduation of the Class of 2026.
