More than 100 men, women and children took part in the Jewish Discovery program “Just Dough It” at the Chabad of the Five Towns last Sunday. The family-oriented event provided everyone with an opportunity to make hamantashen the traditional three-cornered cookie for the Purim holiday.

Potato latkes, dreidels and gelt (the chocolate coins given to children) were handed out by the Chabad of Hewlett as the Jewish organization took part in the Hewlett-Woodmere Business Association menorah lighting at the Triangle by Broadway and West Broadway last Sunday, the first night of Hanukkah.
