Kaminsky wins in 20th Assembly District Long Beach resident Todd Kaminsky, 36, a Democrat, defeated his Republican opponent Avi Fertig, 41, of Woodmere, by 54 to 46 percent on Nov. 4 for the assembly seat on the 20th District and will succeed retiring longtime Assemblyman Harvey Weisenberg (D-Long Beach). more
