The Rockville Centre Police Department responded to a pair of crimes that occurred on the morning of Nov. 30. At 3 a.m., a robbery was reported at the north parking lot of Morgan Day’s Field. An unknown Hispanic man allegedly entered the car of a 29-year-old and held the victim at gunpoint, demanding cash from his pocket. The perpetrator fled the scene with the money. No injuries were reported. Later on, at 5 a.m., police personnel received a report of a burglary on Linden Street. According to the report, the resident discovered that someone had forced open the side door of his house and that an unknown amount of money was stolen inside. more
