The Rockville Centre Education Foundation will once again enrich the learning experience of district students, as its president, Delia Garrity, was joined by grants committee chair Nancy Richner to present school district officials with a check for $30,853 at the Board of Education meeting on May 25.

Audience members who saw the recent performance of "Mythological Magic" by Wilson Elementary School’s Drama Club say it was an outstanding success. The musical is based on six Greek myths: Origin of the Seasons, Midas, Echo and Narcissus, Arachne and Atalanta’s Running Race. The initial premise for the musical was that three modern day children go into the woods and find a magical door that takes them into the world of ancient Greek mythology.
