Boy Scout Christopher Kosowski, of Bellmore’s Troop 285, held a fundraiser at Grace Baptist Church in Franklin Square on March 24 — along with several other members of the troop — to help fund his Eagle Scout project, which includes several improvement projects at Grace Baptist. A Queens man was arrested Wednesday at 11:50 p.m. and charged with stealing money from a donation box at the Jaame Mafjid Mosque on Newbridge Road in North Bellmore. Nassau County Police arrested Ahmad Saeed, 48, after the suspect was caught on the mosque’s surveillance video. more
